The new BAFM Directory is now available to fully paid-up members as a password protected PDF file. This file will be updated each month with the latest information and any corrections or additions which have been notified to the BAFM Adminsitrator & Membership Secretary.
BAFM members can view the directory on-line, download it to their computers (file size 2.0mb) or print it (warning: this is an A4 document of over 100 pages).
To obtain the current monthly password to access the directory members must contact the BAFM Administrator via email (see below) who will then issue a password. Passwords will only be sent to the member group's official named contact as it appears on the membership list.
The directory contains a full listing of the contact details for all BAFM Officers, every member group, both alphabetically and by geographical area, along with the institutions they support. The directory is a valuable resource for members and helps them forge and maintain links with other groups both in their own area and further afield.
BAFM officers will be sent the monthly password at the start of each month by the Administrator via email.
The PDF file can be opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader (once the password has been entered) and can be navigated on screen using buttons on the contents page, by scrolling and with the arrow keys. Members can also use the 'live' email and website address links within the document to contact other groups. All requests for access will be checked against the current membership list - if the details given are incorrect or membership has lapsed access will be denied.
UPDATING THE DIRECTORY
Note to BAFM Members. Each issue of the directory contains a form which you can complete and send to the Administrator (address shown below) to update your group's entry details - or you can download the page using the link below and complete it. We would request that you notify BAFM as soon as any changes occur so that we can update your entry and ensure that the directory is correct. The directory will be updated at the start of each month.
